2018年国际消费电子展将举办5G 主题演讲

CES 2018 Announces 5G Mobile Innovation Keynote

美国消费技术协会宣布，将在 2018 年国际消费电子展上举办5G “移动创新”主题演讲。

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced its 5G Mobile Innovation keynote.

该演讲由信息技术产业媒体 SDxCentral 主编苏·马雷克主持，百度集团副董事长、总裁兼首席运营官陆奇博士、高通公司执行副总裁兼高通量子云技术总裁克里斯蒂安诺·阿蒙先生以及 Verizon 无线公司执行副总裁、全球网络总裁兼首席技术官卫翰思先生将联合发表主题演讲。

The keynote will be moderated by SDxCentral Editor-in-Chief Sue Marek and feature Baidu Vice Chairman, Group President and COO Dr. Qi Lu; Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Executive Vice President and Qualcomm QCT President Cristiano R. Amon; and Verizon EVP, President of Global Networks and CTO Hans Vestberg.

The keynote titled Mobile Innovation - How 5G Will Enable the Future, will focus on innovations which will be enabled by a successful global roll-out of 5G networks.

比如自动驾驶技术、医疗健康和智慧城市领域的新突破、AR（增强现实）和 VR（虚拟现实）的行业应用和个人应用、内容和娱乐产业的新商机、物联网大数据应用等等。

Such as self-driving vehicles, breakthroughs in health care and smart cities, ARVR applications for commercial and consumer use, content and entertainment opportunities, IoT data applications and more.

Thales regroups its digital assets

 

2018年1月1日起，泰雷兹将通过设立一个横向结构的“数字业务部”来重组集团的数字业务和专长。

Beginning January 1, 2018, Thales will regroup its digital businesses and expertise under a transverse Digital Business Unit.

David Jones受命出任泰雷兹数字业务部高级副总裁，任命自2017年12月8日起生效。他将常驻加利福尼亚开展工作。

David Jones is appointed Senior Vice-president Digital Business Unit, Thales, effective on 8 December 2017. He will be based in California.

The 7th ABB University Innovation Contest (UIC) themed “Look into the future, digital and connected” kicks off in Beijing.

The UIC 2018 is open to full-time undergraduates, postgraduate students and doctoral students in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

大赛设立了“智慧城市”、“智慧电网”和“智能工厂”三大选题。

It covers three topics “Smart city”, “Smart Grid” and “Smart Factory” .

选手可以从公共事业大数据、电动汽车基础设施、智能建筑与智能家居、人工智能在电力设备中的应用、电动汽车与电网的交互、新能源并网、智能工厂解决方案、新一代智能工业机器人、工业机器人智能应用领域任选其一展开大胆设计与创作。

Participants can select one of several subtopics including big data in public utilities, electric vehicle infrastructure, intelligent building and smart home, application of artificial intelligence in power devices, interaction of electric vehicle and grid, renewable integration to grid, solution of smart factory, next generation smart industrial robots and smart application of industrial robots for design and creation.

大赛报名及作品递交的截止日期为2018年7月22日。入围选手将在8月30日举行的决赛答辩环节角逐一、二、三等奖，赢取奖金以及在ABB中国实习或工作的机会。

The deadline for registration and works submission is July 22, 2018. All finalists will compete in the final defense on August 30 to win the first, second and third prizes as well as internships opportunities at ABB.

获奖者还将得到业内资深专家、学者的面对面指导。同时，ABB还将在官网及微信号设置投票页面，评选“最佳人气团队奖”。

They will also get face-to-face mentoring from industry experts and scholars. Moreover, the Most Popular Team will be selected in an online vote at ABB official website and WeChat accounts.
